Six Judicial Officers appointed judges of Rajasthan High Court

Bar & Bench

The Central Government on Wednesday cleared the appointment of six judicial officers as judges of the Rajasthan High Court.

The appointment has been made pursuant to a Supreme Court Collegium recommendation made in January this year.

The corresponding notification issued last evening informs that judicial officers Devendra Kachhawaha, Satish Kumar Sharma, Prabha Sharma, Manoj Kumar Vyas, Rameshwar Vyas, and Chandra Kumar Songara have now been appointed as Judges of the Rajasthan High Court.

While proposing these names for elevation, the Collegium had also recommended that an advocate, Manish Shishodia be appointed a High Court Judge. However, Wednesday's notification is silent as regards his proposed elevation.
