The Central government on August 29 cleared the appointment of two additional judges of the Gauhati High Court as permanent High Court judges.
The judges who have been made permanent are Justice Budi Habung and Justice N Unni Krishnan Nair.
The Law Ministry also cleared the appointment of Justice Kaushik Goswami as an additional judge of the Gauhati High Court for a fresh one-year term, effective from November 10, 2025.
