Private equity major KKR is selling its controlling stake in Alliance Tire Group (ATG) to Japan’s Yokohama Rubber..Yokohama will buy ATG for $1.2 billion (Rs 7,880 crore) from KKR and other shareholders including IFC to expand its commercial tyres business..AZB & Partners advised both KKR and IFC.
