The other members of the committee are Advocates Beenashaw N Soni, Monika Arora, Vaishali Mittal Dawar and Sonia Sharma..Speaking to Bar & Bench, Aggarwal said that the object of forming the committee was to establish a system to protect women from discrimination."It's very nascent, we will have to sit together and chart out some things...But, for sure we will have a system in place to ensure that some measures are brought about to eliminate discrimination against women in employment due to gender specific violence and harassment.".She also stressed that one of the objects would be to ensure that the guidelines of the Supreme Court in the Vishaka case were followed. Further, she hoped to create a space for young women to be able to approach the committee with ease."Also, to make sure that we inspire the confidence amongst young women and girls, to be able to address us. That's the most important thing I feel right now," the Senior Counsel said.
