Nirupam Lodha leaves L&L to join Khaitan & Co as Partner

Khaitan & Co has announced the joining of Nirupam Lodha as a Partner in its Intellectual Property practice at Delhi.

Lodha is a graduate of National Law University, Jodhpur. He was working with L&L Partners since 2007.

Confirming the move to Bar & Bench, Executive Director of Khaitan & Co Amar Sinhji said,

"Trademarks, copyrights and patent applications have seen tremendous growth in India since 2016. He comes on board when we are seeing a steady rise of India’s ranking on the global intellectual property index. IPR (Prosecution & Transactions) is also a fast growing practice at KCO and Nirupam is a part of that growth story for us!”

Earlier this year, Tanu Banerjee joined Khaitan as a Partner in its Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) practice at Mumbai.

Recently, Savani Gupte left the firm to join Samvad Partners.
