This step has been taken to make up for the loss of working days caused due to the restricted functioning of the courts amid the nationwide lockdown.
A notification has been issued intimating that the summer vacation for the Madhya Pradesh High Court and subrodinate courts earlier scheduled from May 18 to June 12 this year has been cancelled.
As per the notification, this entire period has been declared as Court working days for the High Court as well as the subordinate Courts in the state.
The summer vacations have been cancelled to make up for the loss of working days caused due to the nationwide lockdown on account of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
