The Delhi High Court will organise a speech series on Tuesday to commemorate World Intellectual Property Day. .Titled the ‘IP Eloquence”, the event will be held from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the ‘A’ Block lobby, on the theme “IP & Youth: Innovating For A Better Future". The top three top speakers will be awarded prizes by the Delhi High Court's Acting Chief Justice, judge Vipin Sanghi.The High Court had received 28 responses after earlier publishing a notice calling for write-ups on the theme. The committee constituted to look into the provisions of the 2021 Tribunal Reforms, comprising Chairperson Justice Yaswant Varma, and Justices Prathiba M Singh and Sanjeev Narula , scrutinised the submissions.10 participants were then shortlisted to speak at the event for 3 minutes each..As per the schedule for the event, Justice Varma will give the welcome address, following which the shortlisted speakers will present their views. After the felicitation of the Acting Chief Justice, Justice Prathiba Singh will speak on behalf of the tribunal reforms committee. This would be followed by the announcement of prizes for the speakers, after which Justices Sanghi and Narula will deliver an address and vote of thanks respectively.
