Government appoints acid attack survivor as Standing Counsel for Srinagar courts

Advocate Sehar Nazir was attacked with acid on December 11, 2014 in Srinagar. She had to undergo 26 surgeries and lost sight in one eye.

Advocate Sehar Nazir, an acid-attack survivor, has been appointed Standing Counsel by the Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) administration to conduct government cases in Srinagar courts.
