Heroin worth ₹5 lakh crore gone up in smoke? Delhi High Court seeks MHA response

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday issued notice to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on a plea alleging that more than 70 thousand kilograms of heroin, worth nearly ₹5 lakh crore, has disappeared from the seizure records of the government between the years 2018 and 2020 [BR Aravindakshan v Union of India rep through Ministry of Home Affairs & Ors].
