IDIA Scholar and NALSAR grad Mukesh Kori appointed Civil Judge in Madhya Pradesh

In a win for diversity in the legal profession, Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access (IDIA) scholar Mukesh Kori has been appointed as a civil judge in Madhya Pradesh. He is a graduate of NALSAR, Hyderabad.

IDIA founder Shamnad Basheer took to Twitter to express his elation over the news. He remarked,

“Justice just became a wee bit more inclusive!”

Yay! Our very first @IDIALaw scholar just made it to the bench. After writing a rather rigorous exam, Mukesh Kori made it to the list of newly anointed civil judges in Madhya Pradesh. Justice just became a wee bit more inclusive!
