Order under Section 12 of Domestic Violence Act can be enforced in same manner as maintenance orders under CrPC: Karnataka High Court

The Karnataka High Court recently held that orders passed under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 (DV Act) can be enforced in the same manner as laid down in Section 125 (Order for maintenance of wives, children and parents) of the Code of Criminal Procedure [Renuka v. Yelaguresh].
