Recent trend shows police officers facing sedition charges when government changes: Supreme Court

Chief Justice of India (CJI) NV Ramana remarked on Thursday that there is a recent trend of police officers facing sedition charges when the ruling political party with whom such officers were siding, loses power (Gurjinder Pal Singh v. State of Chhattisgarh).
