Institute of Law, Nirma University wins the Delhi Metropolitan Education Moot Court Competition, 2024

The winning team comprised Vidhi Chhabra, Eva Gupta and Divyanshi Maheshwari

Institute of Law, Nirma University won the Delhi Metropolitan Education National Moot Court Competition organized by DME Law School affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) held on April 6th and 7th.

The winning team comprising of Vidhi Chhabra, Eva Gupta and Divyanshi Maheshwari bagged a cash prize of ₹40,000/-

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab were the runners up of the competition and received ₹25,000/- as prize money. The team comprised of Eshita Dhawan, Megha Gupta and Kalyani

The other awards won at the competition include -

Best Speaker Female: Sakshi Sharan (Christ University, Delhi NCR)

Best Speaker Male: Fenn Oomen (School of Law Christ University, Bangalore)

Best Researcher Female: Vartika Gupta (Unity Degree College)

Best Researcher Male: Yashwardhan Singh (Jindal Global School of Law, OP Jindal University)

Best Memorial Respondent - Gaurangi Kaushik, Muskan Jain, Kshitij Sharma from The Northcap University

Best Memorial Appellant - Helena Patricia Dessa, Aashita Pandey and Prajakta Roy from JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus, Greater Noida

The Best Speaker, Best Researcher and Best Memorials were each awarded ₹5,000 in cash, along with certificates and trophies.
