Antares Legal, VERTICES PARTNERS act on Sindhuja Microcredit pre-Series D fundraise

Rural-focused microfinance institution Sindhuja Microcredit has raised $5 million (₹47 crore) from a pre-Series D fundraise which saw participation from Abler Nordic, GAWA Capital, and Oikocredit.

Antares Legal advised Sindhuja Microcredit, as well as existing investor Carpe Diem, on this fundraise.

The transaction team consisted of Surbhi Kothiala (Partner) and Associates, Divyanshu Bansal and Garima Thukral.

VERTICES PARTNERS advised the investors – Abler Nordic, GAWA Capital, and Oikocredit, on this fundraise.

The transaction was led by Vikrant Anand (Partner), along with a team that included Nishtha Khandelwal (Associate Manager) and Lijji Anna Thomas (Associate). 

Founder and Managing Partner Vinayak Burman provided strategic inputs.

Sindhuja Microcredit will utilise the fresh capital to strengthen its capital base, support business expansion, and scale up access to credit for underserved communities.
