CAM acts on RISE Worldwide - BLAST Esports JV

The JV will cater to the entire esports spectrum i.e., services to publishers and sponsors, end-to-end tournament management, targeted marketing and production and broadcasting.

Reliance Industries Limited’s wholly-owned subsidiary RISE Worldwide Limited has entered into a strategic partnership and will form a new joint venture entity with BLAST Esports Limited (a wholly owned unit of Denmark-based BLAST ApS.).

The transaction team was led by L. BLAST and RISE

Key Objectives of the Joint Venture:

  • Launch of Global and Local Esports Events: The partnership plans to bring established international esports tournaments to India while developing new, India-specific events to engage the local gaming community.​

  • Utilization of JioGames Platform: Leveraging Reliance's digital arm, JioGames, the venture aims to distribute esports content widely across India, tapping into the country's extensive mobile and broadband user base.​

  • Development of Esports Infrastructure: By combining BLAST's expertise in esports production with RISE Worldwide's market knowledge, the joint venture seeks to build a robust esports ecosystem, including grassroots talent development and brand partnerships.​
