Citi buys Indigo shares after Rahul Bhatia divests: JSA, IndusLaw, A&O Shearman act

Rahul Bhatia of InterGlobe divested a 2% stake in Indigo Airlines for ₹3,367.30 crore.

US-based Citigroup Inc. bought InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. shares through an affiliate via open market deals for Rs 1,362 crore. The acquisition was made after Rahul Bhatia of InterGlobe divested a 2% stake in Indigo Airlines for ₹3,367.30 crore. 

JSA advised InterGlobe Enterprises Private Limited.

JSA team included Partners Madhurima Mukherjee Saha and Shivali Singh along with Associate Rishika Kharbanda.

IndusLaw advised Citigroup Global Markets India on this transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Vishal Yaduvanshi (Partner), Priyadarshini Rao (Partner) and Abishek Sankar (Associate).
