Clarence & Partners acts on Harajuku Tokyo Cafe fundraise

Founded in 2021 by Gaurav Kanwar, Harajuku Tokyo Cafe is an Asian-inspired eatery specializing in Japanese cuisine.

Harajuku Tokyo Cafe has raised $2 million from a fundraise led by Indian Angel Network, with participation from Samved VC, LetsVenture and Capitar Ventures.

Clarence & Partners acted as the domestic legal advisor to LetsVenture and cross-border legal advisor for Samved VC.

The transaction team was led by Clarence Anthony (Founding Partner), with support from Neha Thakur (Associate Partner), Varnika Sharma (Co-founding Partner), Varun Kumar (Associate Partner), & Nishi Singh (Associate).

Founded in 2021 by Gaurav Kanwar, Harajuku Tokyo Cafe is an Asian-inspired eatery specializing in Japanese cuisine, including sushi, pancakes, sandwiches, bakery items, and desserts. It aims to bring the energetic and colorful spirit of Tokyo's Harajuku district to its diners. Harajuku Tokyo Cafe is currently has branches at New Delhi, Mumbai, and Gurgaon.

The freshly raised capital will support Harajuku’s expansion into 20 cities, strengthen operations, and make authentic Japanese cuisine more accessible to Indian diners.
