DMD Advocates, JSA act on Hakuto acquiring majority stake in Rabyte

Hakuto & Rabyte intend to utilize each other’s existing geographic presence to expand their customer base.

Hakuto Co. Ltd. has acquired a 76% majority stake in Rabyte Edge Private Limited.

DMD Advocates advised the founders of Rabyte on this transaction. The Firm assisted with transaction structuring, as well as the drafting, negotiation, and finalisation of the transaction documents.

The transaction was led by Rashi Dhir (Senior Partner & Head of Corporate), along with Tarinee Sudan (Partner), Shubhangi Bhatnagar (Principal Associate), Arnav Mithal (Associate), Sarvagya Shankar (Associate), and Jasmine Brar (Associate).

Rahul Sateeja (Partner) and Vikrant A. Maheshwari (Principal Associate) advised Rabyte from an Indian tax perspective.

The Firm conducted comprehensive legal due diligence on the company and provided strategic advice on transaction structuring and regulatory considerations. The firm also assisted in drafting and negotiating transaction documents and supported the parties through to successful completion.
