L&L assists O2 Power Singapore with the acquisition of solar power plants from Emmvee Photovoltaic Power

O2 Power Singapore, a renewable energy platform backed by EQT Infrastructure and Temasek, has acquired a portfolio of 5 solar power plants from a Bengaluru-based solar panel manufacturer Emmvee Photovoltaic Power.

Luthra & Luthra Law Offices advised O2 Power on the deal.

The transaction team was led by Avirup Nag (Partner) and comprised of Sabrina Afroze (Managing Associate), Ankit Sahoo (Senior Associate), Ishita Gupta, Asima Ghosh and Kashish Singhal (Associates).

The plants are situated in Karnataka and Telangana and have an aggregate installed capacity of 55 MW, comprising of captive C&I solar project (selling power to Dr. Reddy’s Lab), and utility scale projects selling power to state DISCOMs.
