SAM, Sidley Austin, Trilegal, White & Case act on Brookfield India REIT ₹3,500 crore QIP

The REIT will deploy a portion of QIP proceeds to partially fund one of India’s largest REIT acquisitions.

Brookfield India Real Estate Trust has raised ₹3,500 crore from a qualified institution placement of 109,375,000 units.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co advised Brookfield on this QIP.

Sidley Austin served as the international legal counsel to Brookfield on this QIP.

The transaction team was led by Manoj Bhargava (Partner), and included counsel Rachna Talati, associates Edward Lee, Sarangan Rajesh Kumar, Oindree Bandyopadhyay, and legal assistant Sanketh Hareesh Kumar; with support from partners Carla G.
