Saraf and Partners assists AMPIN Energy on raising $50 million from Siemens

Siemens Financial Services has invested $50 million in AMPIN Energy.

Saraf and Partners acted for AMPIN Energy Transition Private Limited in a fund raise of $50 million from Siemens Financial Services, the financing arm of Siemens AG (Siemens).

Saraf transaction team was led by Partner, Avirup Nag.

AMPIN Energy

Siemens subscribed to a mix of equity shares and preference shares of AMPIN for its capital infusion.

This investment aims to bolster AMPIN's expansion in both Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and utility-scale renewable energy projects, as well as enhance its energy transition value chain business

This marks AMPIN's third significant investment transaction in the current financial year, raising the total equity capital to $270 million for the year. Cumulatively, the company has garnered nearly $700 million in equity capital, facilitating a capital deployment exceeding $4 billion. ​

Headquartered in New Delhi, AMPIN Energy Transition boasts a renewable energy portfolio of 5 GWp spread across 22 states in India. The company employs a balanced mix of solar, wind, and storage solutions to deliver green power to both utility and C&I customers.
