TT&A, Pioneer Law Associates advise IFC on financing Worldlink Communications for Nepal projects

Worldlink Communications will use the funding to grow Nepal’s fiber networks and develop innovative data centers across Nepal.

TT&A and Pioneer Law Associates have advised International Finance Corporation on term loans aggregating up to $14 million proposed to be extended to Worldlink Communications Limited and its subsidiary Data World Private Limited.

TT&A advised IFC with a team led by Gautam Saha (Partner) and Nikhil Bahl (Partner), with assistance from Siddharth Tandon (Managing Associate) and Maansi Mehta (Associate).

Daksh Middha (Senior Associate) also assisted on the matter.

Worldlink Communications and Data World will use the funding to grow Nepal’s fiber networks and develop innovative data centers across Nepal to help bridge the digital divide and drive inclusive development.

Additionally, a partial credit guarantee aggregating up to $12 million is also proposed to be extended by IFC (for its own account and, in its capacity as Implementing Entity of the IDA20 Private Sector Window Blended Finance Facility) to mobilize a local commercial bank to provide additional debt financing to the Borrowers.
