Vertices acts on Ranveer Singh investment in beauty brand SUGAR Cosmetics

SUGAR Cosmetics signs an investment and endorsement agreement with actor Ranveer Singh for an undisclosed amount. This comes pursuant to the D2C brand raising US$ 50 million in the previous round of funding.

Vertices Partners advised their long-standing client SUGAR Cosmetics.

The team was led by Associate Partner Vani Panicker along with Senior Associate Anushree Pathak.

Founder & Managing Partner, Vinayak Burman and Founder Partner Archana Khosla Burman provided strategic inputs.

In-house legal team at Yash Raj Films advised Ranveer Singh on the deal.

Sugar clocks annual sales of over ₹550 crore with a physical presence across 45,000 retail touch points in more than 550 cities. It sells a range of coloured cosmetics such as lip colours and eye makeup both online as well as offline
