Begur & Partners (formerly known as ARA LAW) is looking to hire associates, senior associates and principal associates with a minimum 3 years PQE.

Location: Mumbai & Bengaluru
Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law.
Job Description
A minimum 3+ years of PQE in the following teams:
1. Corporate Transactions (M&A and PE/VC).
2. Banking & Finance; and
3. Investment Funds.
Experience in:
Generate Corporate, M&A, PE, Venture financings, Due Diligence, Joint Venture, Banking & Finance and Restructuring, etc.
Domestic as well as multi-national Mergers & Acquisitions.
Transaction structuring, drafting transaction documents (term sheets, investment agreements, share subscription & shareholders agreements, closing documents to the transactions, etc.) and negotiations on the same.
Advising various Indian and foreign companies, in relation to joint ventures transactions, including drafting and negotiation of the transaction documents, setting up of the JVC, regulatory applications/filings, advising on issues etc.
Conducting legal, corporate, due diligence, issuance of legal opinions.
Fund formation and investment fund advisory experience.
Technology Laws including GDPR, Data Protection, Technology Services Agreements, Fintech- RBI, NBFC will be a plus.
Requirements
Strong grasp of all relevant corporate law, foreign exchange regulations, SEBI regulations, RBI Act, the Banking Regulation Act etc.
Detailed grasp of complex legal concepts and excellent drafting skills along with in-depth grasp on documentation.
Service oriented with the drive to deliver results accurately and efficiently.
Strong communication skills.
Diligence and integrity.
