Luthra Partner Avirup Nag joins Saraf as a Partner in Projects and M&A practice

Avirup Nag will be joining Saraf and Partners as a new Partner in the firm's Projects and M&A practice, along with his entire team.

Nag is a 2005 graduate of the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. He holds an LL.M. from the University of Vienna in 2007.

Boasting an illustrious 18-year career, Nag’s expertise lies in Infrastructure Projects, M&A and investment initiatives, and energy-related matters. His expertise also extends to advising on climate-responsive project development, navigating long-term contractual complexities, and handling regulatory intricacies within the Energy sector including renewable energy, conventional power and electric mobility.

He has previously worked with leading law firms such as Luthra and Luthra, Indus Law, Trilegal, and Herbert Smith Freehills.

Prior to joining Saraf and Partners, Nag held the position of a Partner at Luthra and Luthra for over 2 years.
