Bharucha & Partners has successfully integrated Lucio, an AI-powered legal tech platform, into its practice.
Over the past several months, the firm’s senior lawyers have used Lucio to streamline tasks across its Transactions, Disputes, and Capital Markets practices.
A press release states that Lucio’s unique capabilities, including agentic research, long-form drafting, and AI-searchable knowledge repositories, have become integral to Bharucha & Partners’ operations. By automating time-consuming tasks such as research, document review, contract drafting and due diligence, the firm has freed up valuable time for its lawyers to focus on strategic, high-value work that is the best use of human expertise.
Commenting on this development, Managing Partner Justin Bharucha said in the press release,
“We’ve been using Lucio for several months, and the results have been excellent. With Lucio, Senior practitioners across the Firm have seen significant time savings, with routine tasks like sorting documents, creating list of dates and events, and drafting initial contract versions now handled swiftly by AI. This shift has allowed practitioners to double down on delivering the value that is our USP.”
Vasu Aggarwal, Co-Founder of Lucio said,
“Lucio’s platform is designed for busy legal professionals who need a reliable and secure tool to handle large volumes of work efficiently.
Bharucha & Partners’ success in integrating our AI tools into their workflows is a testament to how legal AI can transform firms that handle complex and varied practice areas.”
Smeet Anklesaria, Senior Legal Tech Specialist at Lucio, added,
“Our experience supporting top corporate law firms in India has shown us that successful AI adoption is not just about deploying the tech capability, but also requires sustained user upskilling to hone their competitive edge. We are delighted to partner with Bharucha & Partners on this transformative journey.”
Earlier this month, Bombay Law Chambers and Z47 have also adopted Lucio.
