CAM Director Kushal Ramotre has joined JSA Advocates & Solicitors as a Partner in Corporate practice.
Ramotre is a 2013 graduate of University of Mumbai.
He has over 12 years of experience in corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity investments, strategic partnerships and cross-border deals. He has advised on several marquee transactions across sectors such as infrastructure, renewable energy, technology, financial services and healthcare.
His experience includes advising Mavco Investments on a USD 500 million acquisition of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy’s wind turbine business, EssilorLuxottica on its strategic partnership with the Reliance Group, Bytedance on its investments in and exit from Dailyhunt, and KKR on its USD 450 million investment in Hero Future Energies. He has also advised global investors such as Warburg Pincus, OMERS, Alibaba and Circulate Capital on significant investments in India.
Prior to joining JSA, Ramotre was a Director – Corporate Transactions at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in Mumbai. He has also worked with leading law firms, including Trilegal, Acuity Law, BMR Legal and Indian Law Partners, where he advised on a wide range of high-value domestic and international transactions.
At JSA, Ramotre will work with Siddharth Mody, Partner, who will also serve as his mentor.
