Gaurav Rana launches boutique corporate & competition law firm Rana & Partners

Gaurav Rana, formerly a Partner at Indo Legal Services, has announced the launch of his boutique law firm, Rana & Partners, headquartered in New Delhi.

Rana & Partners will provide specialized counsel in corporate and competition law. Its core practice areas include arbitration, insolvency proceedings, mergers and acquisitions, and comprehensive operations and management advisory. By focusing on these pillars, the firm is positioned to address key challenges faced by corporate and commercial entities, including resolving insolvency disputes, handling complex commercial and arbitration matters, advising on competition law issues, and streamlining M&A in India’s dynamic business environment.

An LL.B. graduate and a qualified Company Secretary, Rana has over a decade of experience in commercial litigation and corporate advisory. Prior to his tenure at Indo Legal Services, he held key positions at UKCA Partners and Corporate Professionals. Over the course of his career, he has represented clients before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, and key quasi-judicial bodies, including the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT).

Beyond his litigation practice, Rana is an active contributor to legal scholarship. He is the co-author of “Legal ‘Kisse’ – Digest on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016”, a publication that distills a vast body of insolvency jurisprudence from the Supreme Court, High Courts, and Tribunals into a structured reference for practitioners.

Rana & Partners has formally commenced operations from its office at B-29, LGF, Lajpat Nagar III, New Delhi.
