Hariani & Co Partner Heena Chheda, along with her team of Bharat Jain, Aviral Jain, and Yash Modi, have joined Economic Laws Practice to strengthen the firm's real estate practice.

Chheda graduated from Government Law College, Mumbai in 1999 and has over 20 years of experience in matters of real estate and related litigation on a pan-India basis. Prior to her two decade long stint at Hariani & Co, she was working with Vinod Mistry and Company for over two years.

Her areas of expertise include real estate laws, land laws, revenue code, rent law, stamp duty, registration, commercial laws, law of contract etc. She also advises clients before the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) and RERA appellate tribunal.

The team handles matters relating to acquisition of land, due diligence, development of commercial and residential properties, sale and purchase of commercial and residential premises, leases, leave and license, joint ventures and joint developments, slum rehabilitation projects, redevelopment of housing societies, etc.
