Khaitan's Prateek Bhandari joins Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas as Partner in Infrastructure, Energy and Project Finance Practice

Prateek Bhandari has joined Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co as a Partner, in the Infrastructure, Energy and Project Finance Practice in New Delhi.

Bhandari is a 2013 alumnus of WB National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. He earned his LLM in Corporate & Financial Law from Jindal Global Law School in 2024.

He has over 13 years of experience advising project development, corporate and commercial laws, mergers and acquisitions and project financing across power, renewable energy, oil and gas, roadways, ports and airports sectors. He advises on concession agreements, power purchase agreements, EPC and O&M contracts, tendering and bidding advisory and regulatory matters. In addition, Bhandari's practice encompasses emerging areas of energy transition, including carbon markets, green hydrogen and energy storage.

Prior to his move to SAM, Bhandari was associated with Khaitan & Co for over a decade. He has also been engaged with ICICI Bank in the past. While not actively involved currently, Bhandari is one of the Co-founders of popular law student platform Lawctopus.
