S&R Partner Rachita R Bhat joins Trilegal

Bhat’s joining brings the partnership strength of Trilegal to 113.

S&R Partner Rachita R Bhat is leaving the firm to join Trilegal as a Partner in Corporate practice at the firm's Delhi office.

Bhat is a 2011 graduate of ILS Law College, Pune.

She has 12 years of experience in corporate practice, specializing in investments in the manufacturing sector, commercial real estate and warehousing, the education sector and acquisitions by REITs/InvITs. During her very successful career, Bhat has worked on several complex and pioneering transactions, which include the acquisition of Embassy TechVillage by Embassy REIT, one of the first acquisition transactions by a listed REIT in India, and the acquisition of Embassy Industrial Parks by Blackstone, which was one of the largest M&A deals in the warehousing space.

In addition, Bhat has a strong background in advising clients on a wide range of transactions, including strategic investments, liquidation of assets, joint ventures and exits, both for investors and the sell side.

At Trilegal, she will specialise in M&A, private equity, and general corporate matters, focusing on investments in manufacturing, commercial real assets and warehousing. 

Prior to being invited to Trilegal, Bhat has been associated with S&R Associates for 7 years, where she held the position of a Partner for 2 years.
