S&R Associates Partner Sudip Mahapatra moves to Hillhouse Investment

With over 17 years of experience, Mahapatra advises strategic and private equity clients on complex business transactions.

S&R Associates Partner Sudip Mahapatra is leaving the firm to join Hillhouse Investment, a global private equity Firm.

Confirming Mahapatra's exit, Rajat Sethi, Partner at S&R Associates said,

"Sudip has been a valued member of the Firm. We are delighted for him and wish him all the very best."

Mahapatra is a 2007 graduate of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. He earned his LLM from Columbia Law School in 2010.

With over 17 years of experience, Mahapatra advises strategic and private equity clients on complex business transactions, including buyouts, PIPE transactions, growth capital investments, acquisitions by InvITs, asset purchases and joint ventures, across a wide range of sectors, including infrastructure, real estate, manufacturing, technology, e-commerce, banking and financial services.

Mahapatra has been associated with S&R Associates for 15 years, holding the position of Partner for 9 years. He has previously also worked Kirkland & Ellis.
