Two SAMVAD lawyers get promoted to partnership; total partner count at 18

This round of promotion takes the total number of partners at the firm to 18.

SAMVAD Partners' Mumbai-based counsel Neha Mirajgaoker and Sitara Pillai get promoted as Partner at the firm's Mumbai office. This takes the total number of partners in the firm to 18.

Mirajgaoker completed her LLM from University College London, UK in 2012 and is qualified to practice law in India. She joined the firm in 2019, and her practice areas include general corporate advisory, private equity, venture capital transactions, and mergers & acquisitions.

She has advised well-known VC / PE funds and domestic & international companies and specializes in transaction structuring with focus on FEMA regulatory advice. She has previously worked at Themis Associates, IL&FS and Gagrats.

Pillai graduated from ILS Law College Pune in 2004 and has been with the firm since 2015. She has extensive experience of over 9 years in the banking, financing, and restructuring space and has advised various public and private banks, non-banking and financial institutions, and housing financecompanies on numerous assignments in this space. She also handled infrastructure projects, specifically in the clean energy and logistics sector.

On their promotion to the firm's partnership, Senior Partner Vineetha MG said,
