Supreme Court Collegium recommends 7 additional judges of the Kerala High Court to be made permanent

With these appointments, the Kerala High Court will now have 35 permanent judges and 5 additional judges, with 7 vacancies.

The Supreme Court Collegium on February 12, 2026 approved the proposal to appoint 7 additional judges of the Kerala High Court as permanent judges.

Justice MA Abdul Hakhim, Justice Syam Kumar VM, Justice Harisankar V Menon, Justice S Manu, Justice Easwaran S , Justice PM Manoj, and Justice MB Snehalatha

As per the statement issued by the Collegium, the following judges are to be made permanent:

Justice Abdul Hakhim Mullappally Abdul Aziz,

Justice Syam Kumar Vadakke Mudavakkat,

Justice Harisankar Vijayan Menon,

Justice Manu Sreedharan Nair,

Justice Easwaran Subramani,

Justice Manoj Pulamby Madhavan, and

Justice Marakkaparambil Bhargavan Snehalatha

The first six judges were appointed as additional judges on March 22, 2024. Justice Snehalata was appointed on April 25, 2024.

With these appointments, the Kerala High Court will now have 35 permanent judges and 5 additional judges, with 7 vacancies.
