Vardharma Law promotes Vidula Mehrotra to Partnership, onboards Roshni Khirbath as Partner

Vardharma Law, formerly Vardharma Chambers, has announced the promotion of Vidula Mehrotra to Partner and the addition of Roshni Khirbath as Partner, expanding its partnership to three Partners in New Delhi.

Mehrotra has been promoted to head the firm's Litigation practice, having previously served as a Senior Associate at the firm. An Advocate-on-Record before the Supreme Court of India, she has practised at the firm since 2018. Over more than nine years at the Bar, her practice has spanned civil and commercial litigation, service and labour law, criminal defence, and constitutional writ matters, with regular appearances before the Supreme Court, the Delhi High Court and specialised tribunals.

As a filing Advocate-on-Record, Mehrotra has independently handled Special Leave Petitions, writ proceedings, contempt petitions and criminal appeals, alongside matters involving service law, insolvency and arbitration.

Mehrotra shared,

"Being an Advocate-on-Record has meant taking direct ownership of matters before the Supreme Court, from filing through to final hearing. As the firm's litigation practice grows, I want to keep that same level of direct, senior involvement in every matter we take on, regardless of scale."

Khirbath joins the firm's partnership, leading Strategic Growth and Client Partnerships. Her mandate will centre on strategic development, client engagement and the firm's external and international relationships, working closely with its litigation, transactional and cross-border practices.

Commenting on the development, Khirbath said,

"This step comes at a point when the firm's litigation and arbitration practice, alongside its private equity, M&A and cross-border work, are all scaling at once. My focus will be on making sure the firm's relationships with clients, investors and international partners grow in step with that."

Managing Partner Somesh Tiwari said the appointments reflect the firm's continued growth.

"Vidula has been part of this firm's growth for several years, and this promotion formalises the role she already plays.
