Delhi High Court allows filing of non-urgent matters through weblink and designated e-filing counters

The Delhi High Court has created a weblink to enable non-urgent filing in fresh as well as pending matters.

As per an Office Order issued by the High Court, the filings made through this link will be taken up for scrutiny only after the lockdown is lifted, unless otherwise directed.

Once these filings are taken up for scrutiny, the Advocates or litigant(s) concerned will be informed about the objection(s).

Besides the link, Advocates and litigant(s) can also take recourse to the designated e-filing Counters set up in the Delhi High Court as well the District Court Complexes.

During the subsistence of lockdown, scanning facility for this purpose would be available free of cost at all the above Counters.

Due to COVID-19, High Court has restricted its functioning only to urgent matters. In order to minimize the physical presence of advocates and litigants, the mentioning and filing of urgent matters is being allowed only through a weblink.
