The ICFAI Law School and Pittsburgh Law School is jointly organizing a webinar on "Arbitration in India and the United States" on 17th July 2020 from 07:00 PM- 9:00 PM (IST).
Panelists Ronald Brand and Raj Panchmatia will discuss the basics of arbitration and focus on drafting an effective arbitration clause in both the United States and India.
Professor Ronald Brand is the Chancellor Mark A. Nordenberg Professor of Law and Director of the Center for Inter- national Legal Education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. For over a decade, he has worked with the U.S. Department of Commerce to develop Middle East law school curricula in international commercial law and arbitration.
Raj Panchmatia is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution practice group of Khaitan & Co, and is based out of Mumbai of- fice. Raj has rich experience in the field of dispute resolution and commercial litigation, both at the domestic and international fora. Raj is appointed on the SIAC Panel of Arbitrators and HKIAC List of Arbitrators.
