Argus Partners acts on Indo-Korean JV between Syrma SGS and Shinhyup Electronics

Syrma SGS Technology Limited has entered into a strategic joint venture with South Korea’s Shinhyup Electronics Limited involving a proposed investment of ₹1,800 crore.

Argus Partners advised Syrma SGS on this joint venture.

The transaction team consisted of Abhinav Bhalaik (Partner), Aayush Kumar (Partner) and Vishakha Somani (Associate).

The joint venture marks a significant step towards the establishment of India’s first multi-layer Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Copper Clad Laminate (CCL) manufacturing facility, located at Naidupeta in Andhra Pradesh.

As part of the collaboration, Shinhyup Electronics will bring advanced technological expertise and marketing support, positioning the facility as a cornerstone in India’s high-end electronics manufacturing landscape. Once operational, the project is expected to play a transformative role in strengthening India’s domestic capability in critical electronic components, reducing import dependence and supporting indigenous innovation.
