Greenlake Asia Holdings II Pte. Ltd, an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P has acquired an equity stake in Serentica Renewables for approximately ₹20.4 billion (approximately $250 million).

AZB & Partners advised Kohlberg Kravis Roberts in this deal.

The transaction team consisted of Ashwath Rau (Partner), Atreya Bhattacharya (Partner) and Vyjayanthi Raghu (Senior Associate).

This latest investment will support the company's effort to achieve 4000MW of installed renewable energy capacity that will aid clean energy delivery to large-scale industrial customers, reported Mint.
