Anagram, CMS INDUSLAW, Kaizen Law, First Principles act on Hindustan Unilever's ₹824 crore acquisition of OZiva

Hindustan Unilever Limited has acquired the remaining 49% equity shareholding in Zywie Ventures Private Limited, which sells products under the OZiva brand, taking its total stake to 100%, for a cash consideration of ₹824 crore.

Anagram Partners and CMS IndusLaw advised Hindustan Unilever on this acquisition.

Anagram transaction team was led by Harman Walia (Partner) and consisted of Sanjana Mathur (Counsel), Tanmaya Negi (Prinicpal), Aman Gupta (Senior Associate) and Aditi Sinha (Associate).

First Principles Law advised exiting investors of OZiva, Eight Roads Ventures India III, F-Prime Capital Partners and Life Sciences Fund VI on this transaction.

Hindustan Unilever, one of India’s leading fast-moving consumer goods companies, had previously acquired a 51% stake in Zywie in 2023 as part of its strategic entry into the fast-growing Health & Wellbeing segment.
