Dua Associates, CAM act on ₹300 crore acquisition of Kwality Animal Feeds by India Poultry Alliance

This acquisition gives IPA access to Kwality’s long-standing partnerships with major food service providers and quick-service restaurants.

The promoters of Kwality Animal Feeds Private Limited has sold 100% of their equity shares to Indian Poultry Alliance Private Limited (IPA), a part of Allana Group, for ₹300 crore.

Dua Associates advised the promoters of Kwality Animal Feeds on this transaction. The Firm assisted in the drafting, finalization and negotiation of the transaction documents and also assisted with the closure of the transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Sunil Malik (Senior Advisor), Prateek Bedi (Partner), Rahul Goyal (Principal Associate) and Rishabh Halwai (Senior Associate).

IPA plans to invest ₹200 crore in Kwality for further expansion. This acquisition gives IPA access to Kwality’s long-standing partnerships with major food service providers and quick-service restaurants (QSRs) and is expected to drive innovation in poultry and animal nutrition solutions.

The acquisition also provides IPA access to Kwality's established partnerships with major food service providers and quick-service restaurants, enhancing supply chain efficiency and market reach. This aligns with IPA's broader strategy to invest ₹2,000 crore over the next three years to scale up to seven manufacturing units and strengthen cold chain logistics and distribution networks

Founded in 1983, Kwality Animal Feeds is a fully integrated player with the businesses spanning feed mills, soya processing, breeding farms, hatcheries, broiler integration, and value-added poultry products. Kwality enjoys significant market presence, particularly in West and South India.
