The transaction supports Reliance’s comprehensive entry into the packaged foods segment, with SIL being positioned as its flagship foods brand across categories including noodles, jams, ketchups, sauces and spreads. The acquisition forms part of Reliance's broader strategy to reinvigorate and modernise some of India’s most beloved heritage brands.
