SAM, S&R Associates act on Orkla India ₹1,667 crore IPO

Orkla India Limited (formerly known as MTR Foods Private Limited) has raised ₹1,667 crore from an initial public offering of equity shares.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co advised Orkla India, its parent company Oslo-listed Orkla ASA, and its promoter selling shareholder, Orkla Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., on this IPO.

The transaction team was led by Nikhil Naredi (Partner), and included Rohit Tiwari (Partner), Chinmay Sethia (Principal Associate), and Associates, Manish Soni, Avani Sharda and Najeeb Din.

The Regulatory Advisory team was led by Manjari Tyagi (Partner), with support from Deepika Goyal (Principal Associate) and Shivaang Maheshwari (Associate).

The Labour and Employment team comprised Pooja Ramchandani (Partner), Kriti Kaushik (Partner) and Rakshita Mehta (Associate).

Mukul Baveja (Partner) advised on certain key IP related aspects.

S&R Associates represented ICICI Securities, Citigroup, J.P. Morgan and Kotak Mahindra, the book-running lead managers to this IPO.
