HDFC Capital Affordable Real Estate Fund – 3 (acting as the investor) has established a joint venture (JV) with House of Abhinandan Lodha entailing project investments of ₹1,500 crores towards the development of new generation low-rise development projects in India.
The Investment will result in a Gross Development Value (GDV) of ₹4,500 crores.
SNG & Partners acted as the legal counsel to HDFC Capital in this JV. The firm's role involved drafting, review and negotiation of the transaction documents executed or to be executed in relation to the investments made or to be made under the JV and providing comprehensive legal advice on the deal.
Amit Aggarwal (Senior Partner and Head of Corporate Practice) acted as the engagement partner for the transaction.
The transaction team consisted of Aditya Vikram Dua (Partner) and Parvathi Menon (Associate).
