SNG & Partners assists Mundra Petrochem on availing ₹19,876 crore project finance

SNG & Partners advised Adani Group’s Mundra Petrochem Limited in availing a project finance facility of ₹19,876 crores from State Bank of India (SBI)

The firm acted as the legal counsel to Mundra Petrochem Limited and provided legal advise on the transaction, including reviewing, negotiating and finalising the transaction documents for availing the said project finance facility.

The advising team from SNG & Partners was led by the Anju Gandhi (Partner – Head of Banking & Finance) with Rashmi Raveendran (Associate Partner), Hetal Sheth (Associate Partner), Prateek Mohnot (Senior Associate) and Avni Gupta (Senior Associate).

This transaction marks the Adani Group’s foray into the petrochemical sector and is expected to double the India’s capacity to manufacture the plastic polymer.

The for setting up greenfield polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant in Mundra, Gujarat with annual production capacity of 1 MMTPA.
