S&P Global has sold their Global Engineering Solutions Business to investment funds managed by KKR, for $975 million.

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP is serving as legal counsel for S&P Global while S&R Associates represented S&P Global on Indian legal aspects of this transaction.

The transaction team was led by William Vivian John (Partner), and included Siddhi Kudalkar (Associate), Arunima Vijay (Associate) and Shubhangi Rai (Associate) on corporate matters; Riyan Vatcha (Associate) and Chirali Jain (Associate) on employment and real estate matters; Ajinkya Gunjan Mishra (Partner), Avani Tewari (Associate) and Tarusha Airan (Associate) on indirect tax matters; Sumit Bansal (Partner), Shivani Chhabra (Associate) and Taranjeet Singh (Associate) on direct tax matters.
