Universal Legal, Desai & Diwanji act on CloudSEK ₹50 crore fund raise

Singapore headquartered CloudSEK, a cyber security startup providing AI powered digital risk protection services has raised ₹50 crores in its Series A round of funding.

Universal Legal advised CloudSEK on the Indian aspects of this transaction with a team led by Partner Rashi Kapoor Mehta and Senior Associate Neelkamal Chaudhary.

Desai & Diwanji advised one of the existing investors - Parampara Capital. The team consisted of Partner Siddharth Mody and Associate Partners Rahul Deodhar and Prerana Chaudhari.

The round was led by Mass Mutual Ventures Southeast Asia II LLC with ON Mauritius, AL Trust, QED Innovation Labs LLP and individual investors.

Existing investors Aaruha Technology Fund II and Exfinity Technology Fund II with Parampara Early Stage Opportunity Fund - Series 1 also participated in the fund raise.

The current funding round will be leveraged to accelerate CloudSEK's sales and marketing efforts across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and North America. The company will also ramp up its research and development to combat the increasingly sophisticated global threat landscape.
