Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas lawyer Vishrut Jain has joined SMBC Global Services as the Head of Legal.

Jain is a 2012 graduate of West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences.

With 12 years of experience, Jain has worked in both in-house roles, with stints at ICICI Bank, Tata Capital and YES Bank, as well as in law firms. He specialises in Banking & Finance, M&A, PE/ VC, Fintech and Financial Regulatory Services.

Prior to joining SMBC Global Services, Jain was a Principal Associate at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

Speaking on his move, Jain shared,

After what has been an incredible journey at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, the next step is to lead the legal function and shape strategy from the ground up by partnering closely with business.
