Dr. Sanjeev Gemawat, who served as Group General Counsel of Dalmia Bharat Group for over six years, has quit to join Vedanta Resources as Group General Counsel.
Gemawat is a 1994 graduate of JNV University, Jodhpur, from where he also completed his Master's in 1996. He is also a qualified Company Secretary and Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India respectively.
During a career spanning over 26 years, Gemawat has had exposure as a litigating lawyer and has held leadership positions in prominent organizations like Olivetti, JCB, GBC and DLF Limited.
