Kochhar & Co has announced the addition of a ten-lawyer team to the firm, including Ketan Mukhija as Partner (Corporate & M&A) and Co-Head of the Venture Capital practice, Abhinav Agnihotri as Partner (Dispute Resolution) and Guneet Singh Chadha as Partner (Corporate & M&A).
Mukhija has experience in advising multinational corporations and institutions, private equity funds, venture capital investors, founders and strategic acquirers on complex investment structures, high-value M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, banking and finance matters, competition law and employment-related issues.
A graduate of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, Mukhija has previously worked with both Indian law firms and international law firm.
Agnihotri joins the firm with expertise in construction and infrastructure disputes, public law, employment disputes, regulatory disputes and white-collar crime matters. He has advised corporates and financial institutions, including in matters involving governmental and quasi-judicial authorities.
Chadha has experience in advising clients on corporate and commercial matters with a focus on M&A and private equity transactions. With over a decade of experience, he has served as Senior Legal Consultant at Larsen & Toubro and has worked with other Indian law firms and an international private equity firm.
On the recent appointments, Founding Member and Managing Partner Rohit Kochhar said in a press release,

In September this year, Burgeon Law merged into IC RegFin Legal.
As part of the integration of Burgeon with RegFin, Roma Priya, Founder of Burgeon Law, joined as an Equity Partner. She assumed the roles of Senior Partner & Founder – Delhi and National Head – Private Equity & Venture Capital Transactions.
Mukhija, Agnihotri and Chadha did not move to IC Regfin Legal along with Roma Priya.
